So I am a HUGE Sucker for baby girl clothes!!

But those of you who REALLY know me, already knew that, huh? :D We went to the mall last night and got Savannah another outfit. But I promised Alan that I wouldn't buy anymore until we start the paperwork. But that is only 1 month and 29 days to go!!!!

Only 2 more months to go!!!

Well, 2 months and 6 days!!!! I am really getting excited as I know that God is faithful and that He will provide in His timing everything that we need to go through this!! On May 5, 2007, we will be sending in the contract to start the paperwork trail to bring Savannah Li home with us! It brings tears to my eyes to know that this is so real and that we should have a little girl in our arms in about 2 years!!!

Kind of Down today :(

I just talked to the agency and they recommend that we hold off on everything until May 2007. I will be 29 1/2 then, and otherwise some of the paperwork would expire before the whole process is over. We have decided at this time to stay with this agency and wait until May. I know that we had talked about going through Korea, but at this time, we both feel very strongly toward China!

I guess that this update will be the last for a while, but please continue to pray that God's will is done!

Things may change...

We are praying about another agency to go with to adopt. The agency that we had originally chosen only assists adoptions through China, and we are looking for a Christian agency that does Korean and Chinese adoptions. If the regulations go through with China, we will probably adopt from Korea. Their restrictions/qualifications are a lot less strict. But again, God knows everything and where our baby is, so we are praying each day to follow His will and path!!

Our Christmas Eve!

On Christmas Eve, we told Alan's family about the adoption!! I took a pink piece of paper and wrote on it "We have started the process to adopt a little girl from China. You will be grandparents in a little over a year a half. Love Alan and Renee"

I took the message and rolled it up and put it in a bottle, and wrapped it for his mom to open. She opened it and immediately started getting teary-eyed. She was thrilled!

We cannot wait for the day that we get our referral and can share that news with both of our families!

We are praying that God's will be done in this whole thing. We received word (not official yet though) that there may be some qualifications that may go into effect that may inhibit the process, but again, nothing is approved yet. Pray with us that God's will is done!
